Looking for a same-day Suboxone refill or new patient appointment? Acorn TeleMAT is an addiction medicine outpatient clinic providing Suboxone and buprenorphine treatment with in-person care in Tustin and telehealth throughout California, with prescriptions sent to a local pharmacy when medically appropriate.

Suboxone is an FDA-approved medication containing buprenorphine and naloxone. It is used to treat opioid use disorder by reducing withdrawal symptoms and cravings.

Side effects vary from person to person. Some people may experience mild nausea, headache, or drowsiness, especially when first starting treatment. Many people tolerate Suboxone well.

Yes. Eligible patients located in California can meet with a licensed provider through a secure telehealth visit. An in-person appointment may be recommended when clinically appropriate or required.

Schedule an appointment online and meet with a provider by secure video. Your provider will review your medical history, current opioid use, symptoms, medications, and treatment goals. If Suboxone is medically appropriate, a prescription can be sent to your local pharmacy.

Many people want treatment but face barriers. They may not have reliable transportation, cannot miss work, do not know where to find a Suboxone provider, face long appointment wait times, or lose access when a provider closes or leaves the practice.

Telehealth can reduce many of these barriers by allowing eligible patients to meet with a provider from home.

Yes. Established patients and patients transferring from another provider may schedule a telehealth appointment. Every refill requires a clinical evaluation, and prescriptions are provided only when medically appropriate.

Starting at the right time is important. Taking Suboxone too soon after fentanyl or another opioid may cause sudden withdrawal. There is no single waiting period that is right for everyone. Your provider will assess your symptoms and give you individualized instructions.

There is no FDA-approved medication specifically for kratom or 7-OH withdrawal. In some cases, a provider may consider buprenorphine-based treatment after an individualized medical evaluation.

Do not stop Suboxone suddenly without speaking with your provider. A gradual, individualized taper can help reduce withdrawal symptoms. The appropriate schedule depends on your dose, treatment history, symptoms, and goals.

Yes. Sublocade and Brixadi are FDA-approved extended-release buprenorphine injections for opioid use disorder. Eligibility depends on your treatment history, current medication, clinical evaluation, and insurance coverage. Injections are administered by a healthcare provider during an in-person visit.

A weekly or monthly buprenorphine injection may be a good option for patients who prefer not to take medication every day, have difficulty remembering daily doses, want greater privacy, or prefer the convenience of longer-lasting medication.

Your provider will review your treatment history and determine whether Sublocade or Brixadi is appropriate for you.

Hepatitis C spreads through blood, and sharing needles or other injection equipment increases the risk. Many people have no symptoms, so testing is the only way to know. Hepatitis C can now be treated and cured in most people.

We work with select insurance plans. Coverage varies, so please contact us to verify your benefits before your appointment. Self-pay appointments are also available.

We understand that cost is an important part of choosing treatment. Our self-pay pricing is simple and transparent.

Self-Pay Options

  • $99 Per Visit — Best for stable patients who need a single visit or routine monthly follow-up.
  • $199 Care Package — Includes up to 4 visits within 30 days for patients who need closer or more frequent follow-up.

When Is the Care Package Helpful?

The Care Package may be a good option if you:

  • Are starting or restarting Suboxone and need scheduled check-ins during the first few days of treatment
  • Need dose adjustments
  • Need support managing cravings or withdrawal symptoms
  • Are transitioning to a buprenorphine injection
  • Need injection coordination, post-injection follow-up, or an injection-site assessment
  • Need more frequent provider guidance during the month

One Clear Price. Thirty Days of Guided Care.

Treatment needs are not always predictable. You may need only two visits, or you may need additional follow-up as your symptoms, medication dose, or treatment plan changes.

The Care Package provides 30 days of structured follow-up with an experienced addiction medicine provider. When starting or adjusting treatment, scheduled phone check-ins may be used to review your symptoms, response to medication, and whether your treatment plan needs adjustment. Included visits do not require a separate visit fee.

For patients and families, this means one predictable cost and the peace of mind of knowing that continued support is available throughout the month.

If you expect to need only one routine visit, the $99 per-visit option may be the better choice.

More Than a Prescription—Care You Can Trust.

You are not simply looking for the lowest price. You are looking for an experienced provider who listens, understands your treatment, and guides you when questions or changes arise.

At Acorn TeleMAT, you receive personalized addiction care from a provider who stays involved throughout your treatment. You can move forward knowing that your care is being managed with experience, attention, and compassion.

You found the care you were looking for.

Using Insurance?

Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your insurance plan’s copay, deductible, and coverage. If you have a PPO plan with a high deductible and would otherwise pay the full visit cost, self-pay may be more affordable. Self-pay availability may vary by insurance plan.

Medication and laboratory costs are not included. Unused visits expire after 30 days and cannot be rolled over or refunded.

Yes — this is our Peace-of-Mind Care upgrade. You may upgrade to the $199 Care Package within 7 days of your first visit by paying the remaining $100 balance. Your first visit will count as one of the 4 included visits, and the 30-day Care Package period will begin on the date of your first visit.

The cost depends on your insurance, dosage, medication form, and pharmacy. Generic buprenorphine/naloxone is usually less expensive than brand-name Suboxone.

Money-saving tip: Compare prices using the GoodRx app or website. With a coupon, generic buprenorphine/naloxone 8 mg/2 mg may be available for under $30 for 30 tablets—30-day supply when prescribed once daily. Prices vary by pharmacy and may change.
